A warm and creamy spinach shorba soup made with butter, cream and Banarasi Spinach Curry. Simple, smooth and ready in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 400ml water
  • 1 packet Banarasi Spinach Curry
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 2 tsp cream
  • 1 tsp cream, for garnish

Method

1. In a pan, heat 400ml water. Empty the full sachet into the pan and mix well.

2. Bring to a gentle simmer.

3. Add cream and butter and cook for 2–3 minutes.

4. Add 30ml water if you want it thinner.

5. Garnish with fresh cream and serve hot.

Best served with

Garlic bread, toasted sourdough, naan crisps or as a warm starter.
